  My brothers and I went here k-8. We got a fairly good education, even though we were constantly going to Mass or Stations of the Cross or preparing for the Christmas show, etc. The textbooks were usually really old and falling apart, but the material we learned was a lot better than what's in the newer textbooks that I've seen. Art, music, computer education, and foreign language study were an absolute joke, and when I went there, Honors Math was held in a tiny room that was originally used to store band instruments. And concerning the priest abuse scandal, Father Dunn lived in the rectory. He came to the parish with a letter in his file written by the therapist the diocese had forced him to see that he was a danger and would absolutely offend again. Then one day, he vanished; apparently some little child in our parish had been victimized by him, as all the higher ups knew would happen. If I lived in an area with a good public school system like Methacton, I would definitely send my kids to public school and teach them about Catholicism myself, if my faith was that important to me.
